- Are your simulated exams completely up-to-date?
Yes. We update our simulated exams as often as the state boards update their exam questions – and we do so immediately.
- Do your study guides and simulated exams cover material from the Milady textbook and the Salon Fundamentals textbook?
Yes, of course. The written exams contain questions based on the content of these textbooks (as well as other textbooks).
It’s very important that you’re aware, however, that the wording and phrasing of questions on the official exam may vary from the wording in your textbooks. Our simulated exams are developed to contain the same phrases and terminology you’ll find on the official written exam, which will help you prepare.
If you rely on the textbooks alone, you may struggle because you won’t be familiar with the different wording and phrasing on the written exam itself.
- There are plenty of free practice exams online. Why should I pay for yours?
The free practice questions you see online are almost always outdated (just like the websites that give them away for free). What’s more, they usually don’t use the same wording/terminology that you get on the real exam – so they don’t prepare you very well for what to expect. Unlike our competitors, we don’t just give you practice questions: we give you questions in the style and format of a real-life written exam. - How long will I have access to the practice tests on this website?
Each practice test package will give you 6 months of access.
If you would like or need to continue using beyond 6 months, feel free to renew your subscription for another 6-month period.
- Can I access the practice tests package from my phone or mobile device?
Yes. You can use any device of your choice: desktop, laptop, cellphone or tablet. Anytime, anywhere.
